REFUSED:

1. The proposed development would be visually intrusive to the surrounding
residential properties detracting from the open character and amenities enjoyed
by the occupiers of nearby properties, contrary to Policy DBE9 of the adopted
Local Plan.

DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL:

1. The proposal represents overdevelopment of this site by reason of excessive
height and bulk and a cramped appearance to the property with insufficient
amenity space provided such that it will detract from the character of the area,

position where they would visually dominate the street scene, contrary to Policy
