At its meeting on 26 February 2019, the Overview & Scrutiny Committee noted the withdrawal of a call-in relating to elements of the Council’s current Accommodation Strategy. 4.

Essex Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner (PFCC) Presentation

The Deputy PFCC, Jane Gardner, will be giving a presentation to all Members on Thursday 11th April 2019 starting at 5.30pm in the Council Chamber, just before the Cabinet meeting at 7pm. The presentation is due to last about an hour from 5.30 to 6.30pm.

 

The presentation will be about the PFCC’s priorities and Crime Plan, which will likely include the Violence and Vulnerability Framework.

 

All Members are welcome to attend.

Cancelled Meeting FPMCC

Please note that FPMCC on Thursday 21 March 2019 has been cancelled. The only report due to be considered at this meeting was the Quarterly Financial Monitoring report for quarter 3, which will be considered at the Resources Select Committee on 2 April 2019.

Resources Select Committee

At its meeting on 2 April 2019, the Resources Select Committee will be considering proposals for the identification of the Council’s suite of key performance indicators for 2019/20.

 

The Chairman of the Select Committee would like to encourage all members that have an interest in the review and monitoring of performance against the indicators, to attend the meeting.

The notification of decisions taken by individual Portfolio Holders is no longer included in the Council Bulletin.

 

All members of the Council receive automatic email notification of the publication of each individual Portfolio Holder decision and the call-in period for each decision commences immediately. Members wishing to call-in a decision should complete the attached call-in form and return it to Democratic Services before the expiry of five working days following the publication date of the decision. Members should refer to the Constitution (Article 6 - Overview and Scrutiny) for the rules of call-in.
