Every Contact Counts

We’ve joined forces with the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex to deliver awareness training on exploitation in our community and how to support people in danger.

EVERY CONTACT COUNTS is a 90-minute awareness training session taking pace on Thursday 2 April in the Council Chamber.

It’s essential training for all frontline staff and we’ll be extending the invitation to partners across the district

Attendees will be able to:

•            spot the signs of exploitation: gangs, county lines, modern slavery, domestic servitude, sexual exploitation, missing children etc.

•            know how/where to refer concerns regarding exploitation of young people and/or vulnerable adults in their local area

•            respond safely to these concerns where it is appropriate to do so

There are three sessions during the day: 9:30 – 11:00, 12:00 – 13:30, 14:30 – 16:00

Please e-mail  safeguarding@eppingforestdc.gov.uk if you would like to attend, giving your details and preferred session.
