Part C - General Information

1.

Postponement of Civic Awards 20 March 2020

Like most people, we have been watching news reports about coronavirus and taking note of the Government advice. In view of the developing situation and our duty of care to everyone involved in the Epping Forest Civic Awards Dinner, we have reluctantly decided to postpone next week’s event as a precautionary measure.

We know that this will come as a disappointment to everyone. The Civic Awards promised to be a very enjoyable evening, celebrating our community. However, we are already making arrangement to reschedule later in the year.

It is worth emphasising that this is a precautionary measure. We hope that you and your guest will understand the reasons for our decision and support the course we are taking. It is a postponement rather than a cancellation and it is our intention to seek a new date to hold the event in the early autumn. We very much hope you will be able to join us then.

2.
