Councillor Syd Stavrou

It is my sad duty to inform you all that Councillor Syd Stavrou passed away on Friday 10 July 2020. Councillor Stavrou had been a member of the Council for Waltham Abbey High Beech since 2002, and had held a number of positions within the Cabinet, including Finance Portfolio Holder and Deputy Leader. There will be an opportunity at next week’s Council for Members to share their memories of Councillor Stavrou.

 

I will inform you of the details for the Funeral or Service of Remembrance when we receive them from the family.

All members of the Council receive automatic email notification of the publication of each individual Portfolio Holder decision and the call-in period for each decision commences immediately. Members wishing to call-in a decision should complete the attached call-in form and return it to Democratic Services before the expiry of five working days following the publication date of the decision. Members should refer to the Constitution (Article 6 - Overview and Scrutiny) for the rules of call-in.
