Members Workshop - New Ways of Working

The Epping Civic building transformation into a collaborative space for employees, partners and public is going well. This New Ways of Working Workshop will explore the vision of our working approach. We will be sharing the building look and feel, customer journeys and how all this will come together under one brand.

Grant Aid Funding

Community Grants have received an application for Grant Aid funding from the groups named below. If you have any pertinent or relevant information on these applications for funding, please notify us via email at grantaid@eppingforestdc.gov.uk

 

You must declare an interest if you are involved with the group in any way.

 

1.           Name of Group/Applicant: Epping Forest Cricket Club

 

Nature of Application: Epping Forest Cricket Club are applying for new roll out covers for the pitch and a defibrillator for club and Pitch 3.

 

2.         Name of Group/Applicant: ABACEI

 

Nature of Application: The organisation uses the arts, music, dance and performing arts as the vehicle of education and the inspiration for disadvantaged people in the community. The group would like to run an educational and social inclusion programme in Epping Forest to improve the quality of life of young people that come from disadvantaged backgrounds. These will take place in Epping Hall.

 

3.         Name of Group/Applicant: Rotary Club of Loughton, Buckhurst Hill and Chigwell

 

Nature of Application: Application for funding towards rent for premises at 13 Sun Street to enable the 3food4u project to run. This project supports over 600 Epping Forest residents per week to be supplied with food. 

 

4.         Name of Group/Applicant: Waltham Abbey Community Centre 

 

Nature of Application: Application for funding towards core costs. Due to the pandemic the centre has suffered from restrictions and has not been able to be used. The Community Centre is applying for funding towards their contents insurance renewal and their essential music licence.

The notification of decisions taken by individual Portfolio Holders is no longer included in the Council Bulletin.

 

All members of the Council receive automatic email notification of the publication of each individual Portfolio Holder decision and the call-in period for each decision commences immediately. Members wishing to call-in a decision should complete the attached call-in form and return it to Democratic Services before the expiry of five working days following the publication date of the decision. Members should refer to the Constitution (Article 6 - Overview and Scrutiny) for the rules of call-in.
